# Transfer Market

The transfer market opens at the end of **each Round** and closes **one minute before the start of the first match of the following Round**.

During this period, you can freely modify your squad by making transfers involving both players and your coach.

♾️ **Unlimited Transfers**

For the **2026/27 season**, there is no longer a limit on the number of transfers you can make.

You can complete as many changes as you consider necessary, adapting your team based on the upcoming fixtures, player form, or your own strategy.

However, every transfer comes with a **-5 FPT penalty**, which is applied to the score of the Matchday that is about to begin.

This means that every transfer becomes a strategic decision: you can make changes whenever you want, but you must evaluate whether the expected benefit is worth the cost of the move.

#### Example

If you make:

* **1 transfer** → -5 FPT
* **3 transfers** → -15 FPT
* **6 transfers** → -30 FPT

Inactive players (meaning players who leave Serie A during transfer windows) can be sold without counting towards the number of transfers made.

Inactive players (meaning players who leave Serie A during transfer windows) can be sold without counting towards the transfer penalty limit.

Selling these players does **not apply the -5 FPT penalty** and does not affect the number of transfers made during the Matchday.

🆓 **Free Transfer Windows**

Between one Tournament and the next, you can completely rebuild your team without any penalty.

During the following transfer windows, transfers are **unlimited and free**:

| Transfer Window     | Following Competition |
| ------------------- | --------------------- |
| Between R11 and R12 | Autumn Tournament     |
| Between R20 and R21 | Winter Tournament     |
| Between R29 and R30 | Closing Tournament    |

These windows allow all managers to start each new Tournament with a completely renewed squad, giving everyone the opportunity to adjust their strategy and build a new team without transfer costs.
