# Coach Scoring

**Coach Scoring**

In addition to the 15 players, every Kickest team must also select a **coach**.

The coach contributes to your team’s score based on the performance of their real-life team during the Serie A Round.

Unlike players, the coach’s score is not determined by individual actions, but by the result achieved by their team and by the bonuses/penalties included in the **Coach Scoring System**.

Changing your coach during the transfer market follows the same rules as player transfers: you can always replace your coach before the start of the following Round, but each change applies a **-5 FPT penalty**, except during the free transfer windows.

<summary>⚖️ <strong>Coach Difficulty Coefficient</strong></summary>

The coach’s score is adjusted through a **coefficient** that represents the difficulty of the match.

The coefficient is calculated based on the difference in market value between the two coaches involved in the matchup.

This system ensures that:

* a positive result against a stronger opponent is rewarded more;
* a negative result in an easier match has a greater impact.

When the coach’s score is positive, it is **multiplied** by the coefficient shown in the table below.

When the coach’s score is negative, it is **divided** by the same coefficient.
