# Welcome to Kickest

Kickest is a **stat-based fantasy football game**: player scores are calculated entirely from the statistics collected by **Opta - Stats Perform**, our official data provider.

Every action on the pitch — such as goals, assists, dribbles, completed passes, or turnovers — contributes to the final score. There are no player ratings, subjective judgments, or manual adjustments: every score is generated exclusively from the events recorded during the match.

📖 **How to read this rulebook**

The following pages will guide you through all the main features of the game: from creating your team to the **Scoring System**, from the transfer market to competitions, and through managing your lineup during every Matchday.

If this is your first season playing Kickest, we recommend reading the sections in the order they are presented. If you have already been playing for a few years, you can go directly to the sections dedicated to the **new features introduced for the 2026/27 season**.
